Alex Semprevivo batterista freelance pugliese. Frequenta a Milano dal '97 al '00 la scuola di batteria presso il "AMM" (Accademia di Musica Moderna), dove studia col maestro Marco Volpe.Inoltre il quel periodo frequenta numerosi stage con i piu' noti batteristi: Dvid Garibaldi (Tower of Power), Dave Weckl, Horacio Hernandez, Tommy Campbell,Mike Shapiro, Franco Rossi, Cristian Mayer,Roberto Gatto, Agostino Marangolo, Ellade Bandini. Dal 2000 al 2001 studia con Maurizio dei Lazzaretti, e frequenta le clinics tenute dal prestigioso Berklee College di Boston in occasione del festival Umbria Jazzz 2000 con Ron Savage.Ha partecipato a importanti festival musicali italiani e all'estero:"Perugia Classico 2001 (Progetto Pcecimen Teatro e Musica), Meridiano otranto Jazz Festival 2002 con Nicola Andrioli trio, Venettnic@rom Festival di Venezia, Notte della Taranta Festival nel 2003 con Opa Cupa, Briff Brindisi International Film Festival con Opa Cupa, Notte della Taranta Festival 2005 con Demotika Orkestar, Festival Jazz de Lubberon (Francia) nel 2005 con Manigold.Ha collaborato con numerosi progetti con "MAURIZIO PETRELLI BIG BAND", "MISS TIA ARCHITTO","MANIGOLD","VENTO DI FRONDA","ANIMALUNAE", "OPA CUPA", "ADRIA", ""DJ GRUFF & The SINFONAITO" "INSOLADO". Dal 2001 e' docente di batteria presso la "Accademia di Musica di Lecce" corsi Yamaha.

Alessandro Semprevivo born in 1977, has been playing the drum since he was 13 years old.
In the city of Milan, from 1997 to 2000, he went to the percussion school at the "AMM" (Academy of modern music) where he knew Marco Volpe teacher.
In Milan he also attended many courses of the most known drum teachers like: DAVID GARIBALDI(Tower of Power), DAVE WECKL, HORACIO HERNANDEZ, TOMMY CAMPBELL, FRANCO ROSSI, CRISTIAN MEYER,ROBERTO GATTO, AGOSTINO MARANGOLO, ELLADE BANDINI, MIKE SHAPIRO.
From 2000 to 2001 he studied with Maurizio Dei Lazzaretti in Rome and during the Umbria Jazz Festival in 2000 he improved his studies by teaching of the Boston Berklee College Ron Savage teacher.
He took part in important italian and international music Festivals like:

Since 2001 he has been teaching jazz music at the "Yamaha Music Academy" of Lecce.
